Solution for Consumer Tech
Products that become part of everyday life need materials that contribute to how they look, feel and function. TECHIC combines more than 15 years of end-to-end automotive CMF experience with an agile supply chain network in China, helping consumer technology teams move quickly from material direction to high-quality prototypes and production-ready applications.
Transferring Automotive CMF Expertise
Automotive CMF depends on more than selecting colors and materials. It requires an understanding of how materials respond to light, how illuminated effects are integrated, and how textures, perforations, seams, edges and material transitions contribute to perceived quality. We transfer this expertise to consumer technology, adapting automotive approaches to lighting, detailed craftsmanship, multi-material coordination and production control for smaller and more personal products. Cross-industry experience also allows us to identify materials and processes developed for one sector and reinterpret them for new product applications.

Flexible Materials + Hardware Integration
We develop flexible materials, engineered textiles, soft-touch surfaces and soft-to-hard integration solutions around specific product requirements. Material combinations, textures, structures and joining methods are sampled and refined as a coordinated product material system rather than treated as a final decorative layer.

Agile Prototyping Through China’s Supply Chain
TECHIC works through an agile network of material developers, process specialists and manufacturers across China. This allows us to respond flexibly as requirements evolve, rapidly explore different materials and processes, and translate CMF ideas into physical samples with rich visual, tactile and illuminated effects. Speed does not mean settling for generic results. Our team coordinates suppliers, compares technical routes and repeatedly refines details to maintain design intent and prototype quality. Projects can progress from an initial CMF direction or material challenge through rapid sampling, prototype evaluation, process adjustment and production feasibility development.

We work across wearables, health and wellness devices, smart home products and other high-touch consumer technologies.
Our focus includes flexible materials, lighting and material effects, detailed surface processes, tactile experience and the integration of soft materials with rigid hardware.
